Qi Gong
Qi Gong is a Chinese exercise system similar to Tai Chi. While Tai Chi is traditionally a martial art, Qi Gong focuses on the internal cultivation and refinement of life force energy (Qi). It is sometimes described as Taoist yoga because it consists of breathing exercises, postures, and sequences similar to Hatha yoga from India. Qi Gong is a holistic form of exercise which focuses on cultivating physical, mental and spiritual health. A regular qi gong practice increases strength and coordination, improves sleep and digestion, and helps to balance the emotions while decreasing stress levels. It is suitable for people of all ages and is widely practiced in Asia as a part of a preventative health regimen.
Tai Chi
Tai Chi is an ancient Chinese form of exercise and self-defense which is designed to improve strength and flexibility, harmonize the emotions, steady the mind, and as an aid toward health and longevity. Tai chi uses martial arts movements preformed in slow motion, thereby improving balance, coordination, and strength. It is often described as moving meditation due to its calming effect upon the mind. Tai Chi is an ideal form of exercise as it is very adaptable to the age and skill level of the practitioner; it is challenging and rewarding for both the beginner and the advanced student alike.
Group Classes
Winter, Spring, and Fall classes are currently available through Park City School District Community Education. Registration and times are available online at www.pcschools.us or check “The Compass,” the community education brochure mailed to homes quarterly.

Instructor
Wyatt Krajeski, a Licensed Acupuncturist, began his Tai Chi studies in 1994 at Reed College in Portland, OR. He moved to Santa Fe, NM in 2000 to study Bagua, a Chinese martial art closely related to Tai Chi. While in Santa Fe, Wyatt studied Tai Chi, Bagua, and Qi Gong with several teachers. Wyatt continues his Tai Chi practice under the instruction of Master Lu in Salt Lake City, UT.
