Wyatt helps people achieve their health goals through a combination of treatment modalities. He utilizes a gentle style of acupuncture, abdominal massage, herbal and nutritional consultations, and lifestyle coaching. His specialties include the treatment of pain, digestive disorders, lowered immunity, anxiety/depression, pediatrics, insomnia, weight-loss, and facial cosmetic acupuncture.

Melissa brings more than 13 years of professional experience to her practice. She uses a combination of her skills to suit the individual needs of her clients, including non-invasive acupuncture, therapeutic massage, nutritional and herbal consultations, and cosmetic acupuncture. Melissa helps people overcome a variety of health concerns including neck pain, low back pain, sports injuries, depression/anxiety/stress, digestive problems, asthma/allergies, premature aging, gynecology, and menopausal support.

Melissa is originally from Kailua, Hawaii and San Luis Obispo, California. In 2007, she and her husband, Wyatt, co-founded Longevity Acupuncture Clinic in Park City, Utah. Melissa earned her M.S. in Oriental Medicine from Southwest Acupuncture College in Santa Fe, NM. Her clinical experience in the healing arts began in 1997 when she became licensed in California as a Massage Therapist. She obtained certifications in Deep Tissue Massage, Shiatsu Acupressure, Oriental Nutrition, and Polarity Therapy at Heartwood Institute in Northern California. Melissa completed her B.A. degree in Cultural Anthropology from Humboldt State University in California. As part of her undergraduate program, she spent a semester Xi’an, China studying Chinese Medicine and culture at Shaanxi Regional Hospital and Northwest University. After 4 years of post-graduate study in acupuncture and Oriental Medicine, Melissa became board certified by the National Certification Commission for Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine (NCCAOM) and licensed in Utah as an Acupuncturist. While at Southwest Acupuncture college, she was awarded the Golden Flower Scholarship for Excellence in Herbal Studies. In 2009, Melissa and Wyatt traveled to Kyoto, Japan with their teacher Koei Kuwahara to attend the Ki Shinpo Conference for advanced training in Japanese Acupuncture.
When she is not treating patients in the clinic, Melissa spends time with her 1 year old daughter, Alina. She enjoys hiking, snowshoeing, traveling, cooking, and being in nature.

Wyatt grew up in Park City, UT. He earned his B.A. degree from Reed College in Portland, OR and then obtained a M.S. degree in Oriental Medicine from Southwest Acupuncture College in Santa Fe, NM. Versed in both Chinese and Japanese styles of acupuncture, Wyatt began exclusively practicing Traditional Japanese Meridian Therapy under Sensei Koei Kuwahara in 2002. He traveled to Japan with Kuwahara Sensei in 2009 to attend the Ki Shinpo Conference in Kyoto for advanced training in Japanese Acupuncture. Wyatt also studied taoist abdominal massage (chi nei tsang), qi gong, and taoist philosophy at the White Cloud Institute in Santa Fe. Wyatt also practices Shonishin, a specialized pediatric non-insertive needle technique for infants and children. His experience includes the treatment of many common pediatric ailments: asthma/allergies, lowered immunity, ADHD, insomnia, and emotional/behavioral problems.
Wyatt currently teaches tai chi and qi gong classes in Park City through the Park City School District Community Education. Registration and times are available online at www.pcschools.us or check “The Compass,” the community education brochure mailed to homes quarterly. He also provides private Tai Chi and Qi Gong instruction.
